Ambrosia Theater works to provide small, intimate, flexible performance space
Sarah Mayne has been running ShimmyUSA (959 Lake Drive SE) in the Blackport Building on Lake Drive since 2005 starting on the first floor until seven years ago when she moved to a larger space upstairs. But as her dance business grew, so did her need for a performance space to accompany it.
Not finding many options already available, Mayne opened Ambrosia Theater this summer on the second floor of the Blackport building, right next door to the bellydance class space...
"Ambrosia Theater is a beautiful, 2000sq ft Performance space, located on the 2nd floor of the Blackport Building, in the East Hills / Uptown Business District with a seating capacity of 70. Ambrosia features tiered audience seating, a lavish green room for performers and off street parking. Ambrosia is a traditional black box theater, with the ability to accommodate many different styles of events, from dance and theatrical performances, rehearsals, workshops, photo shoots, receptions, private functions and more!"

Discounts are available for consecutive bookings (3 or more) and discounts are occasionally available for single night and/or partial week bookings when multiple client bookings have cooperative dates within the same week.
